My journey has taken me from television and advertising to B2B and B2C tech marketing. A storyteller at the core, I’m passionate about using video and thoughtful design to engage, convert, and delight.
I’m presently the Creative Director and filmmaker at the Softbank-backed sustainable food startup Zume. I also consult for startups, honing company narratives to support fundraising, and crafting impactful collateral to empower sales teams.
Previously, I served as the Creative Director for 5 years at the a16z/KPCB-backed enterprise drone analytics startup Airware. Under my watch, we expanded sales into four verticals, activated a channel of thirty dealers, launched marketing partnerships with Global 2000 customers, and opened offices in EMEA and APAC. We leveraged video storytelling extensively to drive key business initiatives across the company including sales enablement, customer success, thought leadership, product prototyping, recruiting, and fundraising.
Prior to Airware, I worked on video campaigns at Nest, directed advertising campaigns in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC, and assisted on television shows such as ‘Arrested Development’. My brand work received distinctions at the London International Awards and I was the recipient of the Young Director Award in the U.S. category at the Cannes Advertising Festival.
For fun, I shoot short films with a creative partner, Jared Hillman. To date, we have released three: Tandem, The Listing Agent, and The Fake. The films have played on HBO, NBC/Universal, Canal+, AMC Networks, and Virgin Atlantic.
